The CARE (Community Academic Research Education) Oncology and Hematology Faculties are proud to announce the completion of another successful meeting at ASCO.

This year, a CARE @ ASCO Hematology Session also took place, featuring sessions on NHL and CLL, antibody conjugates and other developments in hematology/lymphoma, and updates in multiple myeloma from ASCO and EHA.

About CORE @ ASCO 2015

CORE @ ASCO 2015, held in Chicago, IL provided residents, fellows and junior faculty from across Canada an education opportunity, in addition to networking and engagement in lively discussion among the conference participants. Held on Friday, May 29, 2015, the information presented framed news from the ASCO conference in a Canadian perspective. This program encouraged the investigation of current research/ information as well as current and future treatment options in oncology.

Intent

  • Educate participants by highlighting key research/information presented at the ASCO 2015 conference framed from a Canadian perspective
  • Allow Canadian residents and fellows to interact with leaders from across Canada to help establish a mentorship/relationship
  • Establish a network of Canadian residents/fellows across the country to enhance morale, opportunities and to share experiences
