The third annual Canadian Hematology Conference – CHC 2013 (formerly the Toronto Lymphoproliferative Conference), ran over two days in late September. The conference format consisted of plenary sessions covering Hodgkin’s lymphoma, non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, plasma cell disorders, leukemia, and MDS. The format was designed to enhance education and promote discussion. Parallel sessions were also held. These focused on more in-depth discussion of emerging therapies, as well as specific pre-defined topics for Supportive CARE professionals (nurses & pharmacists).
To show the comprehensive and multidisciplinary nature of CHC 2013, we have provided an abridged scientific programme and featured sessions that were covered over the two days.
Report content and visuals that follow are drawn from these presentations, including abstract content and discussions. Commentary and perspectives have been provided by the CARE CHC Faculty.
