CARE Updates in Gastroenterology
Members of the CARE Gastroenterology Faculty recently met at the CDDW 2015 (Canadian Digestive Diseases Week)/ CASL 2015 (Canadian Association for the Study of the Liver) conference held in Banff, AB on February 27- March 2, 2015. The CARE Conference Report from CDDW/CASL 2015 provides a summary of the most compelling abstracts and stories presented at this event, and is augmented with additional perspectives from the CARE Liver Disease Faculty.
Also included in this email is the CARE Guidance - Prognostic Predictors for Crohn's Disease and the results from the recent needs assessment on chronic constipation that was conducted by CARE Faculty members.
The CARE (Community. Academic. Research. Education.) Gastroenterology Faculty is a national group of gastroenterologists from across Canada who gather, discuss and address gaps in knowledge, to develop education initiatives framing news from a Canadian perspective.
CARE at DDW Resident & Community Meeting
Open to trainees and community hepatologists and gastroenterologists
- CARE at DDW 2015 provides Canadian trainees and community hepatologists and gastroenterologists with the highlights of the DDW conference, as well as opportunities for networking and engagement in lively discussion among the conference participants. Held on Friday, May 15, 2015, information presented will frame news from the DDW conference in a Canadian perspective.

- CARE's HCV Education Program at DDW will provide Canadian trainee and community hepatologists with the information they need to confidently identify, treat and manage HCV. The program takes place on Friday, May 15, 2015 and is CME-accredited. Read More
